McCullough's Emerald Golf Links
About
The golf course at McCullough's Emerald Golf Links is an 18-hole, public course that is situated within minutes of Atlantic City. Designer, Stephen Kay decided to pay tribute to famous European golf courses such as St. Andrew's in his design. The European influences are reflected in the open fairways, tricky strong winds, and undulating greens. The golf course also boasts the region's only 100-feet elevation changes.
McCullough's Emerald Golf Links' signature hole is the seventh; it is also the course's most unique. The hole features hazards like large bunkers and wide, rolling fairways. Water hazards also come into play on five holes. The acclaimed golf course is challenging but it does provide a truly unique golfing experience.

Fun time
Don’t usually play this course because of how they do their rates (like a hotel, charge more for busier times/days instead of consistent rates for days/times). That aside, It’s a challenging course that even beginners can have fun playing. Course was a little soggy from rain two days prior (was cart paths only). Still was in pretty good condition. Playing partner and I were able to keep a good pace. We didn’t run up on anyone or have anyone in our heels. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Call ahead, do not play if cart path only
Nice course with undulating hills, longer Par 3s and narrow fairways. Tiered greens with interesting hole placements. Biggest issue is management restricted course to cart path only with no notice and no offer to offset, yet grounds personnel drove all over the course without regard. Not a course to play with those restrictions.
Great Shape
Course is in great condition. Very playable regardless of handicap. Going back soon.
Has a real Scottish feel.
Great course. Has a real Scottish feel. Great shape greens, fairways and the tee boxes.
Amazing course. Test all levels of the golfer plus a beautiful layout. Beautiful scenery is a bonus
Great time
Great course and it was in excellent condition even compared to some other “high end “ courses in the area
Nice greens
Tough day to play in the wind, pace of play was slow, group ahead was playing rather slow, greens are in great shape.
Nice Course, Great Condition
Always love playing here. Have to play it a couple times to be able to know where to hit the ball. Course is always in great condition. Will be back.
Great Course
Played this course for the first time today. I was really impressed by the course. Pace could’ve been a little better but it really wasn’t slow. I thought every hole was challenging and each made you think about how you should approach the hole. You use all the clubs in your bag. Overall, it was a great course and a fun round. We will definitely be back.

What a great course, and it should be as each holes represents a famous hole from the Open Championship. Make sure you listen to the starter...he will give sage advice on some blind tee shots. Greens are small and decent speed, fairways are in great shape as are the tee boxes. You will love the elevation changes. Staff was extremely friendly and rangers do their best to keep play moving. Haven't had that much fun playing a course since Old Head in Ireland.
Great Time at the Shore
Great course in great condition. One of my favorite courses down the shore. Play was a bit backed up through the front nine but seemed like an isolated situation.
Great time!
Starter from Glen Burnie was excellent. Followed his advice regarding blind shots, etc. he was spot on. Provided us with everything we needed to know to play well and have a great time. . Awesome course. Greens true. Thanks!

The course is in great shape but the group in front of us was so slow it ruined the day
Definitely will play again soon
Course is in the best shape I’ve ever seen it. Have played here about 30 times over the years and it’s always been well maintained. From tee to green I was very impressed. Keep up the good work!
